08/05/2007 –
The father of a 4 year old boy who died after being hit by a car says they were visiting friends at the time of the accident.
It happened Saturday night on Ashlan near Dante in northwest Fresno.
The father tells Action News his son's name is ----- F-----.
Police say F----- was crossing the street alone when a 60-year-old man accidentally hit him.

Lyrics to Jimmy
Jimmy
Lyrics written by: Kiran
Music written by: Kiran and Arthur
Verse#1
C Am F
Here is something you'd never know, it happened 2 years ago,
G
To our family of three, my wife, Jimmy, and me.
C Am F
Sickness knocked upon our door, but death wanted so much more.
G
It took my wife while she was in bed, but with her last words she smiled and said;
Chorus#1
C Am
Weather beat my face, weather beat my soul,
F G
Weather took my place, but at least you and Jimmy are whole.
Verse#2
Now lonely eyes stare at me, as i tell Jimmy there's no tree,
No presents, no special food, i'm sorry it's all that i can do.
Jimmy looks down, i think he's sad, but he says, "i love you dad",
"I know all that you've been through, but all I want is a dad like you".
Chorus#2
Weather beat my face, weather beat my soul.
Weather take my place, but leave Jimmy whole.
Bridge:
(am)then one day while (c)crossing the street
(g)a car came along, and (f)took him off his feet.
Oh, Jimmy wake up, please answer me.
Are you in a place, where you can breathe?
Now some nights Jimmy comes to me
He says, "Daddy at least now i'm free".
"when your time comes to an ends,
"You'll get to come up here".
"We'll finally be a family, God will wipe away our tears".
Chorus#3
The weather beat my face, weather take my soul.
Let me leave this place, and make my family whole.
Jimmy wake up, please answer me.
Are you in a place, where you can breathe?
The weather beat my face, weather take my soul.
Weather take my place, but at least now you're whole.

Jimmy
we finally made it to a studio...TTL.
we recorded Jimmy, and it only took us about 3 hours. we wanted to perfect it a bit more...but we ran out of time and money, anyway, it's good enough.
i'll try to post it on this blog.
